Emerging Leader of the Year (Nomination Deadline: March 31, 2010)

This award recognizes our leaders of tomorrow and the promise of a vibrant and heart-centered future.  Nominees in this category are the best and the brightest in the 22-29 year age range who have demonstrated extraordinary and significant accomplishments in the areas of education, business and service to their communities. Qualified young women may nominate themselves or be nominated by another person.

Applicant/nominee eligibility criteria:

  • between 22-29 years of age,
  • demonstrated a commitment to “giving back” through active involvement in one or more organizations or initiatives serving those in need,
  • demonstrated entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial initiative and drive (Intrapreneur refers to practicing entrepreneurialism within a corporate context),
  • demonstrated academic excellence, and
  • availability to attend the eWomenNetwork International Conference and Business Expo July 15-18, 2010.

Submission requirements:

  1. Complete the nomination form online (you may want to print the downloadable pdf document to review the input required prior to completing the online form). Click Here to download the pdf.  
  2. You will upload these and other supplemental materials at the time you complete this submission.
  3. Provide a copy of a current resume.
  4. Provide a photo (professional quality head shot required)
    • 300 DPI/Resolution – most web images are 72 DPI at best.
    • Headshot – Remember this is the first place most people will see you. So make it count. The headshot must be at least 2.5” x 3” at 300 DPI.
    • Lighting should be warm and pleasing – not dark or dim or ultra bright like direct sun.
    • Know what is in the background of the photo because it will show up (plain backgrounds work best).
    • Please do not scan images from things like Magazines, Newspapers, Flyers, Brochures and so on.
    • Please do not take a low-resolution or small photo and enlarge it.

Local eWomenNetwork Chapters will identify the top three nominees from their respective areas.  All applications will be screened to confirm all criteria have been met.  The Foundation Advisory Council determines all finalists and the Award winner.

Applications must be submitted no later than March 31, 2010.  Finalists will be notified in May of their status.
