In 2002 Wendy Bird created My Princess Pearls, which helps provides food, clothing, and education for families in the Phillippines. Pearls with a Purpose helps Philippine families produce hand-strung jewelry and hand-made goods which create a profit to provide food, clothing, and education for families in the Philippines and Thailand. The foundation focuses on shipping clothing, food, educational supplies and hygiene kits to 27 different provinces in the Philippines. She also runs a tuition sponsorship program through the foundation in conjunction with Believe International, which is currently sending 296 children to school throughout the Philippines.

Tonya Hofmann

Tonya Hofmann is the CEO of YourLocalCity.com.  After working with small retail stores across Texas, she realized that a change was needed in the way small businesses interacted with each other and finding new clients.  She launched YourLocalCity.com to give businesses a unique opportunity to advertise, promote and connect!

Jennifer Jaciw, co-owner of Lone Star Transportation, has earned the reputation of being a master connector within her community. Often called the “Networking Diva” she founded Divalicious Productions, a business that creates decadent Ladies-Night-Out events designed to bring career-minded women together for socializing, “celebrity-style”. Jen believes that anything is possible with the support of a good network.
