We all know how important the strides being made by corporations on behalf of women are to each of us, as people, and as businesswomen. We also want to say “We See You” to those companies that are making a difference, truly a positive difference, in the lives of women and women business owners. This new Award Category is called the Industry Innovator Award and we are thrilled to be recognizing and praising the work being done for women by one of our Corporate Sponsors.

American Airlines just launched a web site for the woman traveler.  It’s called AA.com/women and it’s devoted totally to the needs and interests of the female traveler. This is the only airline website devoted to women IN THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY. It would not have come into being if not for the relentless determination and commitment of the Director of Women's Sales & Marketing at American Airlines, also a member of the Foundation Advisory Council, our very own Nora Linville. For all she has done, and all we know she went through, to create this amazing new resource for women who travel, we are honoring her and American Airlines with our very first eWomenNetwork Foundation Industry Innovator Award for 2007!
